"Sites and Spaces optimised our space for best usage on a shoestring budget" We had a fairly small space which we wanted to optimise to accomodate both school going children for a play school and younger children for babysitting. Sites & Spaces planned out the space and executed to perfectly suit what we needed on a shoestring budget by creating a new mezzanine floor and use of wood in patterns and designs attractive to children instead of more expensive material. "Our office was ready in record time"
We panicked when the lease for our last office was about to expire in 60 days, with the new lease for a bare shell space having taken longer than expected to be signed. Sites and Spaces turned around space plans and budget estimates within two days of the first site visit. They undertook work in double shifts and effective multitasking including on weekend and public holidays to ensure that the office was ready to move in by the time our lease expired, with just some of the finishing pending completion. There was total transparency in all costs being incurred week on week - so we had close control on the budget. Al-Barkha Street Cafe
"The theme created made us immediately popular with our target group: young adults and gave us the idea for our cafe's name"
We approached the Sites and Spaces team with only an empty space and an idea of the kind of cuisine we wanted to serve for a target group of college kids and young office goers. Also we had to be ready for business by the time cricket world cup 2010 started in a month's time. The SnS team came up with the idea of the cafe taking on the look of a streetside hangout. The street was completed with pavements, street lights, building, garages and cars for a very genuine roadside hangout feel that made us very cool. The name Al-Barkha street was also suggested in keeping with their theme. Even though there are a lot of competition from other cafes and gaming parlours in our area, we are easily the most popular with the hip crowd. The want to be seen here.
